Let the Dream Catch You

"Leap, and the net will appear."

I believe that our creativity has the power to make the world a better place. It is bold to choose the lifestyle of a creative - pouring your heart and soul into your craft. Vulnerability is the name of the game. I notice that while we dream to pour ourselves entirely into our creative endeavors, we often hold ourselves back due to fear. I believe that our artistic dreams are attainable, are tangible - we just have to practice trust in our fate.

Often, we think that we must wait to pursue our dreams until the ‘time is right’ or when it feels safe. There is always an excuse and we tend to give into it, put our dreams on the back shelf, and resume life as usual. What if we chose to trust in our fate and passions and took a leap of faith for ourselves and our dreams?

Ask yourself - are you making decisions out of fear, or out of trust? When we act out of fear, our actions are often misaligned with our intentions. Our fear response is a necessary evolutionary tool, but we become exhausted when we exist in this state. I encourage you to act out of trust - to “leap, and the net will appear.” When we act out of trust, we experience more autonomy. We trust that our fate and passion have our backs, and we boldly create the vision of our dreams and take the steps necessary to achieve it.

Prioritizing your dreams does not always look like a drastic change in your lifestyle. However, we do have the ability to slowly shift how our daily life looks and create the life we want. Committing to yourself and your dreams is possible, but the question is whether or not you are willing to make the sacrifices necessary. Eliminate the obvious blockages to your creative path - eliminate that which does not serve you. Clear away the clutter and make the space for your dreams. If you do not prioritize creating the space necessary for your dreams, they will never come to fruition. The time is now - make the space for your artistry. It matters.

The leap of faith towards your dreams requires exactly that - faith. You have to believe in more than just yourself, but also in your purpose - that your dreams have the capability and intention to create a profound impact on those outside of yourself. By prioritizing your dreams and making leaps of faith in your craft, you make a profound impact on yourself and the world around you. If you are struggling with self-motivation, remind yourself that pursuing your dreams benefits humanity as a whole. What better way to contribute to society than by being your most authentic, creative self?

As time goes on and the preciousness of our existence grows, it is essential to our holistic well-being to prioritize our happiness. Our dreams, no matter how big or small, bring us happiness. When we are happy ourselves, that creates a ripple effect in humanity. Imagine a world where we all indulged in our creativity and showed up for others rejuvenated and eager to grow.
